The TrueFog Industrial Climate Control System uses ultra-high-pressure water delivery and specially engineered nozzles placed at precise intervals to achieve ideal humidity for greenhouse applications. Each system—featuring a high-pressure pump, stainless steel tubing, and brass nozzles—is custom-designed to meet your greenhouse’s exact needs and can be adapted for a variety of growing environments.

One of the greenhouse manager’s primary challenges is preventing plant stress caused by improper humidity in relation to temperature.

Plants breathe through tiny pores on their leaves called stomata. These openings control water evaporation and are essential for carbon dioxide and oxygen exchange—both critical for photosynthesis and growth.

When greenhouse air is hot and humidity is low:

1. Moisture is pulled from the plant through the stomata.
    
2. Nutrients are initially distributed more efficiently.
    
3. Moisture levels eventually drop too low, triggering the stomata to close.
    
4. CO₂ absorption stops, halting photosynthesis and leading to wilting.
    

By maintaining proper humidity, TrueFog keeps stomata open, allowing continuous CO₂ exchange and healthy plant growth.

Traditional pad-and-fan setups push air through water-soaked pads, often causing uneven humidity distribution—too little moisture far from the pads and too much near them, potentially encouraging fungal growth. Solving this requires extra pads and fans, raising costs and maintenance needs.

TrueFog, installed overhead, evaporates fog droplets before they reach plants, delivering even cooling and humidity without wetting foliage.

Condensation:
If humidity output isn’t balanced with temperature, condensation can form—especially overnight. This is easily prevented with timed control, releasing fog mainly during warm, dry periods.

Nozzle Blockage:

Mineral buildup can occur but is reduced by our high-pressure design. Periodic use of a mineral-deposit inhibitor and inexpensive nozzle replacements keep the system running efficiently.

Climate Suitability:

TrueFog performs best where outside air humidity is average to low, ensuring effective in-air evaporation.
