Steve Grasha, Our Founder

Steve Grasha is a trailblazing industrial designer whose stainless steel high-pressure cooling and humidification systems are in operation in more than 50 nations worldwide. He has designed and built systems for leading organizations including General Electric, Ford Motor Company, Burlington Northern Railroad, NASA, General Motors, Teledyne Rocket Engines, Aerojet Rocketdyne, and NASA’s Stennis Space Center and Ford Motor Company.

A fierce advocate for safe, affordable drinking water and a dedicated public servant, Steve has built a strong track record in local water management and community advocacy. Elected in 2022, he serves as the Division 1 Director for the Desert Water Agency, where he contributes to the Conservation and Public Affairs Committee and Finance Committee, helping shape sustainable water policies and professional business practices at Desert Water Agency.

From 2018 to 2022, Steve served on the Mission Springs Water District (MSWD) Board of Directors. During his tenure, he played key roles on the Engineering and Finance Committees and was instrumental in securing state grants that fully funded the Regional Water Reclamation Facility—saving local customers nearly $70 million.

In the private sector, Steve pioneered high-pressure stainless steel misting technology, which was widely adopted around the world. As Founder, Steve led his company for several decades before retiring in 2015 and assuming the role of Chairman Emeritus, working on selected projects in a professional consulting role.

Steve's dedication to service extends beyond the boardroom. Steve has held leadership roles in nonprofit and community organizations, including Chairman of the Riverside County Leadership Forum’s Safe Water Project, Interim Executive Director of Food in Need of Distribution (F.I.N.D.), Director of Desert Community Outreach, and Disaster Services Coordinator for the American Red Cross, where he was honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award.
